The enFlow™ IV Fluid and Blood Warming System is a compact, portable solution designed to deliver warmed intravenous fluids and blood products directly to patients, helping to maintain normothermia and reduce the risk of complications associated with hypothermia. Used across operating rooms, emergency departments, intensive care units, and pre-hospital settings, enFlow™ plays a critical role in improving patient outcomes during surgical and trauma care.
The system consists of a controll unit, a reusable warming unit and a disposable cartridge. Fluids pass through the cartridge, which is coated with parylene to prevent aluminum leaching, ensuring biocompatibility with a wide range of IV solutions and blood products. The cartridge is designed for rapid heat transfer, warming fluids to approximately 40°C ± 2°C in less than 18 seconds, with a low priming volume of just 4 mL. This allows for quick setup and minimal delay in treatment, especially in emergency situations. enFlow™ supports flow rates from KVO (Keep Vein Open) up to 200 mL/min, making it suitable for both routine infusions and high-volume resuscitations. Its compact design enables placement close to the patient, minimizing heat loss along the IV line. The system is lightweight and easily transportable, allowing for continuous warming throughout the patient’s care journey.
Safety is a core feature of enFlow®. It includes multiple temperature sensors and redundant overheat protection mechanisms. If fluid temperature exceeds 45°C, the system activates both visual and audible alarms to prevent thermal injury. The intuitive interface and rotatable digital display make it easy to operate in various clinical environments.
Clinically, enFlow™ helps maintain core body temperature, which is essential for reducing surgical site infections, improving coagulation, minimizing postoperative shivering, and shortening recovery times. Controller
Serves as the power supply for the warmer unit. Designed to mount on an IV pole or sit on a table top. The front panel includes a temperature display and keypad.
Warmer
Designed to work in conjunction with the disposable cartridge to warm IV fluids. Can be placed within inches of the IV site, reducing the potential for fluid cooling within the IV line.
Parlyene Coated Cartridge
Patient-dedicated, disposable cartridges with or without a 7.5 cm extension set are available for customers who require extra length at the end of the cartridge to allow for the placement of IV accessories. The cartridges without the extension set are PVC-free.
