The monsoon 4 is a high‑frequency jet ventilation system developed and manufactured by ThoraTech GmbH, designed to meet modern clinical demands. Available in Single‑ or Double‑Jet configurations, it features integrated respiratory gas humidification and heating with adaptive respiratory gas climatisation for precise control of temperature and humidity. The system includes comprehensive safety functions such as peak inspiratory pressure and pause pressure monitoring with automatic shutdown. Optional accessories, including ACUDIs and sentec integration, enable near‑patient CO₂ and O₂ measurement, remote monitoring, data recording, and network connectivity, providing a flexible and future‑ready ventilation solution.
