AirLife® circuits, including Limb-O®, coaxial, corrugated, and expandable anesthesia circuits, serve as vital conduits for gases between the patient and equipment during general anesthesia, transport, or mechanical ventilation. Available in various combinations of tubing and connectors, these circuits are designed to meet a wide range of clinical needs. Corrugated and expandable circuits offer maximum flexibility with minimal compliance, reducing the need for volume compensation and enhancing overall performance.
Each circuit is rigorously tested with anesthesia delivery equipment to ensure accurate readings and reliable operation. Among the innovative designs is the Limb-O® circuit, featuring a single divided tube with a flexible septum running its length. This septum efficiently transfers heat from the expiratory to the inspiratory side, improving thermal efficiency and supporting normothermic efforts during surgery.
The Limb-O® design also reduces circuit compliance, increasing delivered volume without compromising drape. Its lightweight construction minimizes torque on the endotracheal tube and helps reduce plastic waste. Limb-O®
Limb-O® from AirLife® is a single divided tube utilizing a flexible septum running the length of the tube. The septum effectively transfers heat from the expiratory to the inspiratory side of the circuit. Increased thermal efficiency rates during surgery keeps gases and supports normothermic efforts.
Coaxial
Single Limb Coaxial Anesthesia Circuit from AirLife®, features a tube within a tube design that works to eliminate twisting between the inspiratory and expiratory limb. It provides natural heat and moisture conservation properties.
